The
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was passed by Congress and
signed
into law by President Obama on Feb. 17, 2009. The expressed purpose of
the $787
billion Recovery package is to jump-start the economy to create and
save jobs. Twenty-eight federal agencies are distributing Recovery
funds though 217 specific programs. How will this money impact
economic opportunities for residents of St. Joseph County? Local
officials will join us to discuss these important economic development
issues.
