Jan 27: Public Meeting to Discuss Proposed Revisions to the South Bend Affirmative Action Ordinance

When: Thursday, January 27, 5:30 PM

Where: Charles Black Center, 3419 W. Washington Street, South Bend

    The South Bend Common Council is considering a revision of the city’s Affirmative Action Ordinance (bill 86-10).  The Community Forum for Economic Development encourages community wide discussion of the proposal to ensure that any changes made are in the best interest of the community.  Please join us as we discuss the proposed changes, how we feel they will impact our community and if we believe they will lead to the outcomes we as a community desire.

    In addition, the Council's Community and Economic Development Committee will be holding a public meeting on bill 86-10 on Monday, Jan 31, 2011, 5-6 PM, in the Council's meeting room on the fourth floor of the County-City building, 227 W. Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana.
